As a travel planner for Disney destinations, I share Disney content with my online community all the time. Because of this, I love dressing up for Disney days and taking nice photos. And I put a little more time and effort into getting ready than normal because, well, it’s a special occasion!

There are so many styling tools out there – I can’t be the only one who gets overwhelmed by all the options, right? And when I finally decide on an option, I don’t want to spend forever curling my long, thick hair.

It’s also so EASY to curl my hair. I’m telling you, this wave curler is fool proof. I simply do 1-inch sections of my hair, start close to the roots, and work my way down to the ends (holding for 10 seconds to curl). I get consistent, defined curls every time! It takes me 30-45 minutes to curl my hair, but the shorter your hair, the quicker it goes.

I recommend using a heat protectant spray like this one before you curl to help prevent damage. But always wait till your hair is completely dry before you curl!

I love these magical curls for Disney because they look like mermaid or princess waves! But let’s be honest – this is the only way I curl my hair, Disney or not.
